FREE Virtual PMADs 101 Training on October 13 from 12:15 - 2:15 PM taught by Brie MacLaurin, RN & Executive Director of Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Montana. This training is an opportunity for providers, and anyone who engages with mothers and families in the perinatal period to learn about: perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), including what you can do if you are working with an individual displaying possible symptoms during pregnancy or in the postpartum period; how perinatal mental health impacts child development; and also learn about statewide efforts to collect and promote community resources, create space for storytelling, and destigmatize mental health and substance use disorder issues relating to PMADs. The training will also count towards the eligibility requirements needed to be listed in the 2022 Roots Perinatal Resource Guide. Please share with ANYONE you know who works with mothers and families from pregnancy through the postpartum period.
