L-Town Soup at the Shane Center!

Annoucing L-Town Soup—a grassroots micro-granting dinner where the purchase of your meal funds local projects! There are three ways you can get involved: choose one or all three!

Date: March 12, 2025 | Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Shane Center Ballroom

Do you have an idea that could make a difference in our community? Pitch your project! This is your chance to share your vision and receive funding to bring it to life. For inspiration, check out our website to see some of the past winners! Fill out this short application by Feb 28th.

Interested in supporting these amazing folks and their cool ideas? Come eat soup and enjoy a tasty beverage! For a minimum donation of $20 ($10 for kids) you and the family can enjoy some delicious food from FoodWorks (soup, rolls and cookies) and tasty beverage from Neptune’s (bring your ID for 21+), listen to inspiring project pitches, vote for your favorite idea and celebrate local community winners receiving funding for their projects!

Help us reduce event waste! As an extra bonus, bring your own bowl, spoon, and beer mug to receive a $5 FoodWorks coupon.

Beyond providing grassroots funding, L-Town Soup fosters a spirit of collaboration and community! At PCEC, we are proud to partner with Soundcolor Studios and Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation after hosting successful Soups in 2017-2019. Now, we are excited to relaunch this initiative in 2025, and extend our gratitude to both our previous and new partners, Neptune's Brewery, FoodWorks and The Shane Center.

Learn more about SOUP or apply to pitch a project at www.pcecmt.org/ltown-soup.

SOUP is not about pushing a brand, a trend, an issue, a product, or a business strategy. SOUP is not a topical event where we sit in circles of like-minded individuals who want just art, or ranching, or conservation, or technology, or small businesses to succeed. It is convening all of these previously siloed people together and having a conversation about what matters.  -Why and How to Soup
