Community School Collaborative Eighth Grade Cougar Career Day

  • Government Complex 414 East Callender Street Livingston, MT, 59047 United States (map)

Volunteers needed!

WHAT is a Cougar Career Day? It is a fun and interactive event where students explore potential career pathways, their community and their interests while attending workshops designed and delivered by CSC and their community partners. Cougar Career Day workshops emphasize Career Clusters -- groups of careers that share common features. Jobs in the same Cluster require similar knowledge or skill sets. Students, parents, and educators can use these Career Clusters as a jumping-off point to help focus students educational plans for possible future career pathways.

WHO is attending Cougar Career Day: ALL SGMS 8th grade students.

WHAT will they be doing? The workshops are listed on the take home flyer. Students will explore government and public administration, law, public safety, and security in local, state and federal government.
